The internet has provided thousands of people the opportunity to obtain a theological education to help them fulfill their calling. Although distance learning offers many advantages, such as lower cost and flexible scheduling, it does have its draw backs.

Perhaps the greatest drawback for many is the lack of student-teacher interaction. Sometimes, you just need some personal time with an instructor in order to get over an educational difficulty. Helping students overcome those challenges is what this site is all about.

Having experienced both brick & mortar and distance education, I know the strengths and weakness of both. But more than that, I have taught in both so you will get the benefit of being able to contact someone who still remembers what it meant to be a student. :)

I can help you in the following areas:

About Stephen Vantassel

B.A. 1987 Gordon College, Wenham MA in Biblical Studies and Philosophy with a concentration in Greek and Hebrew

M.A.T.S. 1989 Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, S. Hamilton, MA. in Old Testament.

Ph.D. candidate (all but dissertation) Trinity College of the Bible and Seminary, Newburgh, IN

I have also been a special education teacher and have been involved in distance education for over 5 years. Let me help you succeed in your education so that you can get on with work of the ministry.
