Believe it or not I actually get hate mail from the right wing. Even though I am a proud conservative, I got this hate mail. Certainly it isn't as bad as the left wing mail I get, but how strange that I get it at all.E-mail address was changed to protect the rude.

Animal Rights Hate Mail

Read What this individual called JDF had to say.

This individual had asked about woodpeckers which were damaging his home. I responded by noting that permits were required before one could legally kill a woodpecker. Non-lethal means would have to be tried first. Here is how the person responded.

Are you saying not to shoot woodpeckers that are damaging my $500,000 home ? IF SO, you are mentally deficient, if not I apologize. 99 out 100 Americans would do the same !!

I am saying that you should follow the law. The government will give you a permit to remove the birds if conditions warrant it.
If you find yourself in court because some neighbor complained, you will find out about animal rights activists who can really make your life miserable.

Perhaps you never learned about shooting the messenger. Thanks for the lack of respect and common courtesy.

CRY BABY LIBERAL !!!

I think that this is an example of why our nation's forefathers wanted a representative democracy not a pure democracy. It is a strange thing about Americans. Too many of us, think they are exempt from laws they don't think are right but will cry foul when someone else breaks the law. This is why we have so many stupid laws. We just break them rather than change them.
