Christians who support animal rights twist scripture in a number of ways. This is dedicated to rebutting each of their arguments.

Christian Animal Rights Activists (hereafter CAR) come in various flavors. Some hold very low views on scripture, thus they can cherry pick the passages they like while ignoring the verses they don't.

Cautions: Christians may eat meat or not. Just because we are allowed to eat meat does not mean it is required to do so. Scripture is very clear. If your conscience does not permit you to eat meat, then DON'T. However, it is critical that you don't impose your decision on other Christians who enjoy their freedom. Likewise, Christians who wish to eat meat should not eat meat in the presence of their weaker bretheren so as to avoid offence on a non-essential issue.
